14dec12:00 pm1:00 pmWebinar: DOE Loan Program Office, State Energy Financing Institutions Designing Programs with LPO

Event Details

Please join the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Loan Program Office (LPO) on December 14, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. ET for a discussion with New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut state-government representatives on how clean energy projects are accessing LPO funding through the State Energy Financing Institutions (SEFIs) process. During the webinar, NYSERDA will discuss its Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the LPO, which establishes a framework for the expanded scope of the Title 17 Clean Energy Financing Program under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.

Within the bounds of this new partnership, NYSERDA and the LPO have defined a process to facilitate the review of applications from utility scale solar and onshore and offshore wind clean energy projects applying for financing through the LPO. New York’s large-scale renewable projects that access LPO financing can potentially enable billions of dollars in savings for New York State ratepayers while supporting New York’s Climate Act goal of sourcing 70% of the State’s energy from renewable sources by 2030.
