Event Details

Join NYSERDA in New York City on Thursday, January 11, 2024 for the New York | New Jersey Offshore Wind Supplier Forum. New York and New Jersey (NY-NJ) have nine offshore wind projects totaling more than 9,800 megawatts in development off our coasts and are leading the nation to build a supply chain and workforce to support the growing offshore wind industry. Together NY-NJ constitute the hub of the nation’s offshore wind industry. Both states have ambitious, and achievable commitments to decarbonization and are making significant investments in the development of critical assets like ports, primary components and training programs. NY-NJ are working together to strategically prepare the offshore wind workforce and educate existing businesses about the opportunities in a domestic offshore wind supply chain. Come to learn about the path forward in each of these states.

This year’s forum will focus on the current state of the dynamic offshore wind sector and is intended for local businesses interested in engaging in the industry. Attendees will have the opportunity to:

  • Gain valuable insight into New York and New Jersey’s offshore wind programs respectively.
  • Hear from U.S. companies that are successfully navigating the market and delivering services and products to offshore wind projects and onshore infrastructure assets.
  • Listen to economists about the macro-economic conditions that have caused disruption not only to projects in the U.S. but also in Europe.
  • Engage one-on-one with buyers for these active projects as well as with developers with active lease sites in the New York Bight and beyond.

You can register for the forum here.
