Please join the Yale Center for Environmental Communication for a webinar panel discussion on what Americans currently understand and misunderstand about the Inflation Reduction Act and how to better communicate this landmark national investment in climate change and clean energy. Featuring:

Lori Lodes is Executive Director and co-founder of Climate Power, an independent strategic communications and paid media operation focused on building the political will and public support for bold climate action. Previously, Lori was Director of Corporate Communications for Apple, overseeing public relations for its corporate values. She also served as Director of Communications at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services for President Obama and as Deputy Communications Director for Hillary Clinton during the 2016 election.

John Marshall is the founder and CEO of Potential Energy Coalition, a nonpartisan, nonprofit coalition that brings together America’s leading creative, analytic and media agencies to shift the conversation on climate change. Marshall is also a professor of marketing at Dartmouth College and senior advisor to Lippincott. Prior to founding Potential Energy, Marshall was the chief strategy and innovation officer at Lippincott, global head of strategy and analytics at the digital agency Digitas, president of the public education company The Princeton Review and partner with the consulting firm Oliver Wyman.

Dr. Anthony Leiserowitz, founder and Director of the Yale Program on Climate Change Communication and Senior Research Scientist at the Yale School of the Environment will moderate and provide insights on Americans’ understanding of the IRA from YPCCC and George Mason’s recent nationally representative survey on public understanding of and support for the Inflation Reduction Act.
