29mar2:00 pm3:00 pmAddressing Indoor Air Quality with WE ACT for EJ

Event Details

Across the country, BIPOC-Frontline communities are facing overexposure to indoor air pollution which has led to poor health outcomes, disproportionate fossil fuel emissions, and greater inequity gaps.

Join us for a webinar with WE ACT for Environmental Justice to explore their work to address indoor air pollution. Through the “Out of Gas, in with Justice” Pilot, WE ACT for EJ assessed the benefits and feasibility of replacing gas stoves with induction stoves in affordable housing homes in New York.

This webinar will examine the process of implementing the study, the results of the pilot, and the lessons learned. We will discuss opportunities for policy change and review potential avenues to explore how indoor air pollution impacts your community. Lastly, we will explore how communities can understand this topic in the context of federal funding opportunities.
