Mark your calendar: the fabulous Suzie Ross has put together a fantastic teach-in on the Fossil Fuel Subsidy Elimination Act (S7438/A8483) on Monday, April 18^th from 7-8pm (zoom). This act would save New Yorkers $330 Million by eliminating some of the $1.5B in tax exemptions we currently give the climate-destroying fossil-fuel industry. She’s put together some incredible speakers including: Senator Liz Krueger’s Director of Environmental Policy Justin Flagg, Richard Schrader the NY legislative Policy Director at NRDC, and Assemblyman Cahill’s Deputy Legislative Director Marc Thurston.
