The Climate Carnival on Saturday, July 16th is open to everyone, and is free of charge. There is no entrance or parking fee. Individuals and families with children of all ages are welcome.
Enjoy music and food trucks while learning more about a variety of topics through demonstrations and hands-on educational workshops, such as:
- Composting
- Waste management and climate change
- NYS plan to address climate change
- LED lighting
- Electric vehicles
- Sustainable energy, such as geothermal, solar panels, community solar, and community choice aggregation
- Sustainable architecture and building codes
- Sustainable designs for public buildings
- Opportunities for home energy efficiency such as: insulation, efficient windows, heat pumps, and solar panels
There will also be events from the following groups:
- Repair Café at the Climate Carnival
- County Wide Pop Up Free Store!
- Southern Vermont Natural History Museum
- New Lebanon Bike Program
- Arthur’s Point Farm
