Artists have long been at the forefront of cultural and societal change, but how does their work influence the personal and collective shifts that drive economic and financial systems toward climate action? Moderated by LMCC President & CEO Moe Yousuf, this panel brings together artists Jean Shin and Mary Mattingly, climate finance expert Bruce Usher, and Anna Raginskaya, a financial advisor to clients in the cultural community, to explore how creative practices shape public consciousness, influence corporate sustainability strategies, and shift investment trends. From material innovation to impact investing, we’ll discuss how art inspires individual action, ultimately driving the economic changes necessary for a more sustainable future.
Art as a Catalyst: Shaping Climate Action & Economic Change is presented in partnership with The New York Climate Exchange and Stony Brook University.
