Event Details

Webinar on Tuesday featuring expert panelists on electric bus technologies and procurement
WHAT: The vast majority of school buses in the United States run on diesel, a climate-polluting fossil fuel that releases toxic fumes linked to life-threatening health problems such as asthma, bronchitis and cancer. However, there is a better alternative: zero-emission electric school buses. By switching to electric school buses, children, schools and communities will reap long-term benefits.U.S. PIRG Education Fund recently published a report on the need for public and private investment in electric school buses and infrastructure. Now, the Electric Buses for America campaign is hosting a webinar to dive deeper into electric school bus technology and financing. The webinar will feature guest panelists working to make electric school buses a reality, through vehicle-to-grid technology, tariffed on-bill financing, and public policy solutions.
