After a year of crisis, ALIGN: The Alliance for a Greater New York is celebrating our communities’ resilience and our achievements in rebuilding together! We’re excited to announce a new date for the 2021 ALIGN Movement Builders Awards: Tuesday, September 21st at 6 PM!

Since March 2020, New Yorkers have been facing unprecedented challenges: a global pandemic and the ongoing climate crisis that helped create it and worsen its impact; the resulting job loss and economic downturn; and racial injustice that has resulted in Black and brown communities disproportionately feeling the impacts of these intersecting health, economic, and climate crises.

This year, we hold the MBAs to honor the outstanding leaders who have been at the forefront of the fight for economic and climate justice throughout the pandemic. We have been proud to work with our honorees to defend and expand workers’ rights and address the impact of COVID-19 and climate change on our communities. We hope you can join us this September to recognize our honorees and reflect on the trials and victories of the past two years.
