Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory has just released its annual report reviewing key trends in state renewables portfolio standards (RPS). The report, “U.S. Renewables Portfolio Standards: 2019 Annual Status Report,” is available on the lab’s website at: https://emp.lbl.gov/publications/us-renewables-portfolio-standards-2. The report is published in slide-deck form. It covers recent legislative revisions, key RPS policy design features, state RPSs’ compliance with interim targets, past and projected impacts on renewables development, and compliance costs. In this webinar, hosted by the Clean Energy States Alliance (CESA) for the RPS Collaborative, lead author Galen Barbose will present key findings from the report.
