With extreme weather due to climate change becoming a dangerous and costly reality, our focus this year will be to explore pragmatic solutions through resiliency, mitigation and adaptation. Every April, The Symposium on Energy has successfully covered the most relevant and up to date renewable energy policy, with top national speakers presenting and discussing up to date and cutting edge information. This year the topic is Resilience and Mitigation: Preparing for Climate Change with Renewable Energy. Our first announced featured speaker for 2023 is ELIZA HOTCHKISS, Senior Resilience Analyst & Group Manager Energy Security and Resilience Center, NREL (National Renewable Energy Laboratory, Colorado), who leads the research on resiliency solutions for the United States government.
