Learn how to clean up your energy use and transition off fossilfuels while saving money. The key is making a plan to replace your old fossil fueled boiler, water heater, stove, snowblower, etc. with better, cleaner options when you would be replacing it anyway, as well as the many incentives available through the IRS as a result of the Inflation Reduction Act as well as NY state and Central Hudson. The speaker, Tom Konrad lives in a 1930 farmhouse in Stone Ridge that is entirely fossil fuel free. He and his wife pay less than $1000 a year on energy (counting both their home and theirfuel for their cars.)
He is one of our clean energy coaches and the Chair of the Marbletown Environmental Conservation Commission. Part of the Rosendale Recreation Department’s Looking Towards Spring Community Series.
This event is both in-person and remote.
