In April 2024 the BEST Test and Commercialization Center (BTCC), established in 2014, and the RIT Battery Prototyping Center (BPC), established in 2015, merged to become the RIT Battery Development Center (RIT BDC.) The RIT BDC is a state-of-the-art research, rapid prototyping, and testing facility focused on the development and qualification of emerging energy storage technologies through a partnership between NY-BEST and the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT).

NY-BEST is pleased to host a two-part series of free webinars that will focus on battery testing and battery prototyping and highlight the capabilities of the RIT Battery Development Center. Session 1 will focus on battery testing and will be held on Thursday September 5, 2024, from 1:00-2:30 PM ET. Session 2 will focus on battery prototyping and will be held on Thursday September 12, 2024, from 1:00-2:30 PM ET. Both 90-minute sessions will include a Q&A period.
