Public Hearing 3 – Outreach Webinar: Net Emissions Accounting – 3:00 PM – The CLCPA establishes a goal of reaching net-zero emissions by 2050, achieved through a balance of GHG emission sources and sinks. As such, the annual Statewide Greenhouse Gas Emissions Report will include an assessment of net emissions. This presentation will provide background information on net accounting and highlight key considerations as well as areas for future improvement. Topics will include carbon sequestration, biogenic and anthropogenic emissions, and carbon neutrality in the context of governmental GHG inventory protocols.
