Event Details

Sign up below to join NYATEP for a full day of advocacy as we hit the Capitol *in person* on Tuesday, March 21st from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm!

As New York prepares to embark into a post covid era it must address the immediate issues of income insecurity, the lack of economic mobility for communities of color, severe worker shortages and the skills training gaps that pre-dated the COVID-19 pandemic. The State’s workforce system is uniquely positioned to respond to these challenges by providing opportunities for those systematically excluded from high quality, high wage jobs. Our success will be measured on how well we support our most vulnerable New Yorkers.

Prep Session
On Monday, March 20th from 12:00 pm – 12:45 pm, they will be hosting a prep session where we will be sharing out the meeting assignments, talking points, and how to conduct effective legislative meetings. Make sure to place a hold on your calendar for that date. You will receive an email confirmation for the prep session once you have completed your registration.

Event Registration & Hotel Accommodations
Please have each person from your organization register individually. They have limited rooms available at the Hampton Inn in Downtown Albany for March 20th. You can book your room for $139/night here.
