New York State is moving toward a clean energy future with its ambitious mandates for 9,000 megawatts of offshore wind energy by 2035, enough to power more than 6 million homes, and 100% emissions-free electricity by 2040. With five offshore wind projects in active development, NYSERDA is leading the work to implement these goals in a responsible, cost-effective manner, working with regional, State, and federal partners as well as a wide range of stakeholders.
Join NYSERDA’s Offshore Wind Team for a webinar on Thursday, December 15 at 12pm focusing on our recent program activity in supply chain, workforce development, and environmental and fisheries research and engagement.
