New Paltz is participating in National Drive Electric Week!  Join us for an in-person outdoor event here in New Paltz on Saturday, October 2nd from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm to celebrate electric vehicle ownership!   Considering buying an EV?  Come to this event and learn directly from electric vehicle owners!  All EV owners are invited and encouraged to meet at 11:00 AM near the new Tesla chargers in the New Paltz Plaza (TOPS).  There will be an informal motorcade driving through New Paltz to the New Paltz Community Center at 3 Veterans Drive.  Vehicles will be on display there until 2:00 PM and the public is welcome and encouraged to talk to owners, ask questions, and compare vehicle options.   National Drive Electric Week, September 25th – October 3rd this year, is a nationwide celebration to raise awareness of the many benefits of all-electric and plug-in hybrid cars, trucks, motorcycles, and more.  Locally sponsored by New Paltz Climate Smart.
