Event Details

National Drive Electric Week rolls into in Mount Morris on Saturday, October 1, 2022 from 10am – 2pm with a special ride and drive event. Over a dozens electric vehicle drivers are expected to gather in the municipal parking lot at Main Street and O’Connell Avenue. New this year – check out an electric RTS bus!

You’ll have the chance to check out the various cars, talk to actual owners, not dealers, about their experiences, what they like or don’t like, and may have an opportunity to take some out for a test drive. They’re not only fun to drive, but also a benefit to the environment. Mount Morris now has charging stations on both ends of the village, that are free for the public to use. One is in the municipal lot where the show will be held, so you’ll have an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about them.

The event will also include activities for people of all ages (including kids!), prize drawings and giveaways. There will be representatives from various organizations as well, including the Climate Solutions Accelerator, Citizen’s Climate Lobby, and Friends of the Genesee Valley Greenway.
