Designed for grades 5-8 educators (with discounted pricing available for Environmental Education CoSer districts), this interactive session explores how climate education can be meaningfully embedded into existing curriculum across subject areas, not as an add-on, but as a natural extension of rigorous, relevant teaching and learning.

Participants will build foundational knowledge of climate change causes, impacts, and solutions while exploring standards-aligned, ready-to-use resources connected to NYSED learning standards. Grounded in inquiry, place-based learning, and real-world relevance, the session highlights community partnerships and outdoor learning opportunities. Participants will engage in dialogue that supports shifts in instructional practice while adapting ideas for their own classroom contexts and learners.
