Event Details

It’s EV night at the Drive-in! Basilica Hudson presents the 4th installment of our Non-Fiction Screening Series with 2040 (92 minutes). Come early for an EV Car show, hosted by SunCommon. 6:30PM for the EV show & live music (artist TBA) and the film starts at 8:15PM.
Motivated by his 4 year old daughter, 2040 follows director Damon Gameau who embarks on a global journey to meet the innovators and change makers pioneering the best solutions already available to us today to improve the health of our planet. SunCommon and Basilica Hudson have partnered on this event to showcase examples of climate solutions that are available to us now. Solar power, electric vehicles and the stories that inspire action!
Join local electric vehicle drivers and enthusiasts who will have their cars on display for you to have a look at, and learn all the great reasons to switch to electric driving. One of the more important reasons why we’re seeing this transition to EV’s is because cars and trucks are the largest culprits for fossil fuel emissions that are poisoning our planet. So while driving an EV is entirely more fun, it’s also important for the health of communities and planet Earth. Will we see you there?
Come early to grab a bite to eat and enjoy the outdoor bar at the Greenville Drive-In. Delicious food, unique cocktails and a free screening all with a stunning view of the Catskill Mountains.
This event is free, with a suggested donation of $15 at the box office or made online to help sustain Basilica Hudson and support filmmakers.
