Advancing progress on building energy code compliance is critical to the goals of New York State’s ambitious Climate Act. Efficient building plan reviews and inspection checklists are essential for ensuring consistency and responsiveness in energy code compliance, and in addressing time and resource constraints faced by code officials, related professionals, and permit applicants. Working with its technical partner NORESCO, NYSERDA is pleased to announce a Webinar that showcases the first of their kind “Dynamic Building Plan Review and Inspection Checklists”.
All interested chief elected officials, code officials, and energy code compliance professionals, architects, engineers, and others versed in building energy codes are invited to learn about the first-ever release of Building Plan Review and Inspection Checklists related to the 2020 Energy Conservation Construction Code of New York State (ECCCNYS 2020), and locally adopted energy codes such as NY Stretch Energy Code 2020.
