Organizations and concerned NY constituents will be coming together in UNITY to stand with the Climate Strike youth and call on Governor Andrew Cuomo to uphold his promises to move New York in to a fossil fuel free future. That means halting all proposed and existing fracked-gas infrastructure in the Hudson Valley and throughout New York that undermine the fossil fuel free and renewable energy goals of the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act (CLCPA).

We will voice our concerns about climate change, global warming, and the threat that fracked gas power plants pose to New York’s health, safety, and environmental future. Governor Cuomo will hear from concerned constituents about the devastating effects of fossil fuel infrastructure on local communities throughout New York state.

This event will be well-attended by environmental organizations in New York and it will be a great day of camaraderie, networking, fun, and power. There will be music, sign-making, food trucks, chants, and camaraderie with environmental allies and New York constituents. The press and media will be present to cover the event.
