Event Details

join us for a Climate Town Hall on Tuesday, May 28th at Hudson Valley Community College. You will have the opportunity to hear more about Paul Tonko’s work advancing comprehensive national climate action through the U.S. Congress, share your climate experiences and ask any climate-related questions you may have.

Climate change is a real and growing threat to our region and nation, our military and countless jobs and industries throughout our economy. In March, Tonko released his Framework for National Climate Action to get a comprehensive climate action plan through Congress at the earliest possible opportunity. You can find more information at Tonko.house.gov/climate. As one of a handful of engineers in Congress, Tonko is proud to be working with his colleagues to put science and evidence before politics and finally take bold action needed to address the growing climate crisis and protect the American people and our shared environment.
