New state policy and emerging community-scale energy markets are driving progress towards achieving New York State’s aggressive clean energy goals—70% by 2030, 100% by 2040. Communities now have unprecedented control over the source of their energy, and how much they pay for it. This panel discussion will explore the tools, resources, and strategies available to Schenectady and the surrounding area to define its energy future, while spurring local economic growth and lower energy costs for residents.
