Building Energy Exchange and NYSERDA are pleased to host this Beyond Zero Series event celebrating carbon neutral, adaptive reuse projects across New York State.
Adapting existing buildings to carbon neutrality provides an opportunity to maintain the character of our communities by preserving history and providing unique venues for a host of activities. Join NYSERDA and the Building Energy Exchange for this discussion of adaptive reuse projects in New York State that reclaim older buildings, achieve carbon neutral performance, serve the community, and create new economic opportunities. Expert panelists will discuss design and development strategies that achieve decarbonization and energy performance goals and highlight additional community benefits.

Basilica Hudson NetZero Campus, a renovated event facility whose efficiency and clean energy retrofits keep the property in-use year-round, located in Hudson, NY, a Downtown Revitalization district in the Mid-Hudson Region.
Red Barn Hudson Carbon Neutral Project, a historic post + beam Red Barn building that will be an anchor of waterfront revitalization located in Hudson’s previously awarded Downtown Revitalization Initiative Bridge District.
The Plant Powerhouse Carbon Neutral Project, the former Glenwood Power Plant re-envisioned as a center for leadership, activism, and education on climate change. Entirely carbon neutral, this historic preservation project is located in the city of Yonkers, NY.
