Event Details

Many States, including New York, are still giving free gas infrastructure to new gas customers, paid for by utility ratepayers. Governor Hochul has included language to stop this practice in her recently proposed budget bill. RMI has recently released a report Overextended: It’s Time to Rethink Subsidized Gas Line Extensions that documents and critiques the practice nationally. The lead authors of the report from the RMI Carbon Free Buildings Program, Sherri Billimoria and Mike Henchen , will share report highlights and host a discussion. Additional details and registration here
