NYSTEC’s eighth annual Population Health Innovation Summit, PHIS 2025, will focus on the environment: climate resilience and population health. As climate change intensifies, the impact on our health is becoming increasingly apparent. Extreme weather events, shifts in disease patterns, and disruptions to air, food, and water quality are directly and indirectly affecting health outcomes, particularly in vulnerable populations. To address these challenges, there is a growing need for innovative approaches in public health, urban planning, policy development, and healthcare delivery that emphasize both resilience and sustainability.
