2018 RENEWABLE ENERGY & SUSTAINABLE LIVING FAIR

This is a one- stop shopping event for information and products about renewable energy and living a more sustainable life. This is our third annual Fair. Last year, we had more than 45 different organizations and vendors tabling and presenting workshops on topics from solar energy to composting- and expect the same this year!
There will be food and children’s activities in addition to displays and information on renewable energy and sustainable living. This event is free and open to the public with free parking. It is on the CDTA bus route, bus #214.
Last year, Judith Enck, former Environmental Protection Agency Regional Director under President Obama gave a keynote address at noon- stay tuned for this years special guest!
Some other highlights from last year include:
The Capital District Electric Vehicles Drivers Club offered test rides in their electric vehicles and there was even a solar boat present
Doane Stuart has a “Green Roof” and their students took visitors on a tour and explained what a Green Roof is
