Join Willdan Clean Energy Academy for a free 30-hour advanced HVAC load calculations training program for energy professionals. This technical training covers ACCA Manual J load calculations, energy modeling using Wrightsoft, proper sizing of HVAC and heat pump systems, and strategies for supporting building electrification. The program is funded in partnership with NYSERDA and is designed to help upskill workers for New York State’s building electrification goals.

Join the SUNNY Coalition in Albany for a family-friendly day of action in support of the SUNNY Act and expanding access to plug-in solar across New York. This advocacy day will include a rally, solar demonstrations, and opportunities to engage directly with state legislators.

Participants will learn more about how plug-in solar can make clean energy more accessible and affordable, while helping build momentum for statewide policy change. Whether you’re new to advocacy or experienced, this is a great opportunity to make your voice heard.

Kingston’s 12th Annual Earth Fair is back on May 9th, 2026 at TR Gallo Park in Downtown Kingston, and it’s completely free. Put on by the City of Kingston and the Climate Smart Kingston Commission, the day will be packed with live music on two stages, food trucks, vendors, kids’ activities, a gear exchange, and environmental education. This year also includes free e-waste and refrigerant recycling, plus free confidential paper shredding. New Yorkers for Clean Power is among the sponsors, and a wide range of local organizations will have booths. If you want to get involved, volunteer sign-ups are open at the link on the event page.
