Giant mega- warehouses have sprung up rapidly across New York, generating massive amounts of pollution from the many diesel delivery trucks that come and go from them every day. This pollution is linked to asthma in kids, heart disease, cognitive problems, and even early death. One in four New Yorkers now live within a half-mile of a mega-warehouse.

Join us for a happy hour hosted by the ElectrifyNY coalition, where we’ll hear from experts and advocates about what New York leaders can do to address this dangerous pollution. We’ll discuss existing solutions to build a modern goods movement system that doesn’t pollute our communities.
