The 2026 American Association of Blacks in Energy New York Metropolitan Area Chapter (AABE-NYMAC) Energy Summit will take place on February 25, 2026. The theme of the Summit is “Decarbonizing the Northeast: Technology, Policy and Infrastructure”. Two (2) panel discussions are scheduled to occur during the Summit: “Clean Energy Workforce Development for Construction and Manufacturing” and “Cut the Waste: Minimizing Energy Losses in Northeast Energy Systems”. The 2026 AABE-NYMAC Executive Reception will occur the following day (February 26, 2026). One panel discussion will take place during this event: “The Future of Firm Capacity and Grid Reliability”. Agendas for the Summit & Executive Reception including descriptions of the panel discussions taking place during each event are attached to this request. The Summit website has not gone live yet, so we included the link to the AABE NYMAC website for the time being.
