New York has a bold target of a 100% clean energy grid, and energy storage systems are a key part of that transition. These facilities will replace polluting fossil fuel peaker plants, help stabilize electric rates, and keep our power on during severe weather.

This fall, New Yorkers for Clean Power and Greenlight America are launching an exciting grassroots campaign right here in Ulster County. We are mobilizing days of action, organizing education events, building a local volunteer network, and gathering petition signatures to accelerate clean energy, lower electric bills, and protect public health.
