Event Details

EHJLT Classes

WE ACT for Environmental Justice created award-winning Environmental Health and Justice Leadership Training (EHJLT) program in 2002 to help develop leaders who can advocate on behalf of their community. You can learn more about the program, which is traditionally held in person, by visiting here.

The pandemic has made EHJLT a challenge. But this spring and summer WE ACT is able to offer a series of online courses thanks to the generous support of and partnership with TAZO, a tea company with a passionate commitment to climate justice.

There are no prerequisites for these courses, and they are open to anyone 15 and older. There is no cost, either, though they encourage you to make a donation ($25, or whatever you can afford) to help them continue the program and give others the same opportunity. And WE ACT asks that if you do sign up, you honor your commitment to attend all the sessions because space is limited and demand is high.
